| Artemis1000 chapter 50 . 11/28/2007 I love this story, it's one of the very best Supernatural fics I've read. You write the family dynamics so very well and you do it without being judgamental. You also do a great job at balancing Kelsey's story and the story of the Winchester family - and how you interwove them over the course of time. I'm so glad that you've written two sequels. I don't know how things will progress in the sequels, but in "Memoirs", I got the impression that the friendship between Kelsey and John could have become more than a friendship if they'd met under different circumstances. Sure, she isn't human and in truth, she isn't even a "she". It's the way John treats Kelsey and the way he lets her criticise him. I can't explain it, but I just keep getting the impression that he treats her differently than his other friends - in ways that can't be fully explained by her being female/not human. In his own gruff way, I think he carries a torch for her. Or maybe that's just my inner romantic talking. |
