Really enjoying the story, especially now that it appears as if Paladin's going to be taking a more active role in helping out Ranma.

Unfortunately, I found Akane's and Soun's self-realizations to be a bit too abrupt and expansive. Akane's moreso than Soun's.

I could see Akane reaching the same conclusions that you had herein, but only after further discussions with Paladin, likely during her meditation training.

While it does allow the story to move on, it just feels as if it occurred too quickly and too easily. By 'too easily', I mean, Akane's acknowledging that she'd been in the wrong about her overall treatment of Ranma and her behavior in general, rather than just the one incident that sparked things off. I would have found it more believable if she'd started questioning her past actions, rather than jumping straight to a self-admittance of wrong-doing.

NOT A NEW CHAPTER! Can you put these notes at the end of the chapter? My review was actually for the previous chapter. I feel how Akane got the spanking she deserved, over a hundred whacks? However corporeal punishment can be taken too far in real life. I remember being beaten by my fourth grade teacher until passing out from being hit with a 1x4 paddle. I had blood blisters on my butt, legs and one side of my back. My crime? Being 10 years old and making nude, anatomically correct art. Sorry, but your description sent me into flashbacks. I also equate Genma with my fourth grade teacher, except Genma is a fictional character that won't be going to hell.

I saw this chapter come up and decided sight unseen, to reread the whole series. It had been a long time since reading it. Your story is very good and your spelling (and grammar) is below my spelling narc radar. What helps is to take the online manga from JPEG to pdf to make scrolling easier.
