I've been enjoying this story for some time, and I still do- but I think the Okinawa trip to Mutsumi's family would have been a more solid move than the timeskip, offering both deeper insight into the Promise Girl conundrum and an opportunity for Mutsumi to make a serious move on Keitaro.

Still, if this (frankly neglected) aspect of Love Hina is what you want to go with, skipping all the things they did instead of go to college together- then I look forward to seeing what you do with it! Been here for a good while, and glad you're keeping it going.

Very nicely done and well-written. I'm enjoying where this story is headed, and look forward to more.

The only thing I have which might be considered a "critique" is that my eyes cross whenever I see Shinobu's name repeatedly misspelled as "Shibuno" or "Shinubo."

Wow. This update came out of the blue for me, but I am glad this fic got updated. Love the story and its one of the best in my opinion. Hope you continue to write more of this.

ECP, you used the name of a current Japanese-born professional player in Major League Baseball here, one Shohei Ohtani, who plays for the Angels, and will likely play for them for a while longer, in the next few years or so. And in real life, he wouldn't actually have been old enough to somehow do certain things as you have a character by that name do here, as of the dates in question. You might want to change that name here, due to those simple facts. Perhaps someone actually born sometime between the 1950's and 1970's would be more plausible as a character here, whether or not they are real-world people, I think.
