While I normally never write reviews for stories regardless of how lovely and well-written they are, I was more than compelled to write something to let you know how absolutely charming this fic was, if you hadn't known from previous reviews.

I absolutely love the patient narrative voice of your writing, the sensitive, bright and refreshing characterizations of our Shiro and Rukia, and especially the inclusion of Isane and her mild-mannered gentleness throughout the fic (it's a shame most people overlook her skills as part of the ice and snow zanpakuto family, so I'm really glad you put her in).

Despite it's rather reflective expositional tendencies (which make it seem rather passive in a sense), I felt like this story could really be conceived in the general canon of the animanga. Your talent for developing the characters and encapsulating their tendencies in a short story like this is really incredible (I particularly loved the way you characterized Shiro's innocence and very different character from his canon self - definitely leaves room for growth, maturity and dynamicism in light of his character in the Bleach timeline).

Four years, and this story is still receiving reviews! Again, thank you so much for writing this little jewel of a story. I absolutely loved it and wish there was more. :)

Hitsugaya's still in the academy while Rukia is in the 13th division huh? I don't know what's the exact timeline but i like to think Hitsugaya graduated after Rukia:P that only shows once more how fast he climbed the ranks :)
