I very much enjoyed reading this story - I never thought I needed an Angela Carter-esque rendition of lotr before now! Thank you for taking the time to write this to completion.

Omg! How, where do i even begin to explain what this story did to me! This is perfectly unique, completely captivating and honestly just straight to my heart goodness. Perfect balance of mushy romance and adventure! I cried when you cited that current earth was the old middle earth, and the reincarnations of gimli into mr friser got me by surprise and i love it but at the same time got me so sad knowing what actually happened to the tolkien characters at the end of lord of the rings in the original tolkien books...i am in love with this! One of the very few fanfictions that i just had to review! Thank you! Please keep on writing! I will be waiting.

I loved your characters and Alice and Legolas relationship; very intense, making mistakes and persevering for their love. Which it is how long and durable relationships go on.
Also, What a huge sacrifice Gandalf did! to remain in Earth for all those years just for their happiness.
I was not expecting Legolas to become mortal, but it should work better for them. On the other hand, it would have been nice that the couple would have sailed to Valinor with Gandalf, Valar allowing it.

This story was amazing. I’ve told you before but you are an incredible writer. You’re ideas are so unique and amazing!

I sure hope she was a better person before she died and became who she is now cause damn she says "I'm in love with another" but at the same time she wants to kiss and Remember her time with Legolas. it just seems like she's whiny and doesn't understand that it hurts him alot to see her and then hear her say she loves someone else then wants him to kiss her

I came to this delightful story few years after its completion. ..and wonderful it is !Loved every word! ! It is one of those stories you wish there was more of...Although I kind of wished they had went with Gandalf to the havens then they would have had a forever to make up for all the lonely years...but that is how stories go...still loved it

I still can't believe that what actually broke me and made me cry was the reveal of who Mr. Fraiser was - I guess the true friendship element of LoTR always left me sentimental and the reunion made me realise that now everything really ended well. Beautiful story - nothing more to add.
