PhoenixKeir chapter 1 . 6/30/2010 I really like the analogies and metaphors/similies used in this fic for a few reasons. For one, you don't just go and make everything blatantly obvious and blunt because that is dull and boring. Your way of showing things is subtle and unique and thats what makes your story and writing style so appealing to me. It was well written and it was very deep and I can't help but believe that I cannot fathom the extent of the depth and meaning you threw in this story. Great Job - Well-written and the flow was great as was the plot. -PhoenixKeir |
senkoed chapter 1 . 3/16/2009 i love how twisted sasuke is. really interesting take on his character. i find him the epitome of the draco in leather pants trope, especially in ffs. i found the sakura PoVs rather distracting though. / |
Dayadhvam chapter 1 . 12/10/2007 AH WHY DO YOU WRITE SO AMAZINGLY WELL. (I was skimming over my favorite stories list and noticed that you'd changed your username, then I clicked on the author page and noticed the link to vicissitudes; then found this. OMFG. SO GOOD.) "Kabuto says to Orochimaru that Sasuke needs to go to a mental hospital." I laughed at this. Seriously. Where was the psychiatrist for an eight-year-old Sasuke when he needed one? XD |
Ofi chapter 1 . 12/3/2007 I enjoyed your take on Sasuke's mind... very well written with beautiful, unique analogies. |
r0f1c0p73R chapter 1 . 10/2/2007 i like the symbolism. lol, i didnt get the sui ren part. i do the traditional, un englishified chinese, so yea... but i sorta didnt get 9 and 10. i got the tea part, but too many missions to kirigakure? |
signelchan chapter 1 . 7/11/2007 That. was. awesome. End. of. story. |
Darkkinkachu chapter 1 . 6/19/2007 It is a cruel twist of fate that such a beautiful and well written story should only have one review (two now that I'm here) Seriously, it appals me to see such delightful little gems as this story get ignored. I don't even like Sasuke yet this piece made me feel a (at the risk of sounding stupid) connection to him. This was an absolutely spectactual allegory. The metaphoric representation of the characters really impressed me. I especially liked the part about 'too much water' and 'too little tea leaves'. -"He does not look down because he does not want to see the water people laughing at him, reaching up to the empty, ugly sky. Until they cannot reach anymore."- Loved. This. Line. You, my friend, have a gift. Please keep up the awesome work! Sincerely, Darkkinkachu |
coeur de lyon chapter 1 . 6/9/2007 that was so beautiful, go you! |
