Yoki chapter 18 . 9/17/2017 _cries_ I thought you said it was a joke ;_; I really enjoyed reading this and hope you'll find the will to update again someday. |
zerobullshitallowed chapter 18 . 6/29/2017 I adore this fanfiction. The moment when I realised the boy certainly wasn't Lloyd...man. It's been a while since a story could make me feel so many different emotions. It's beautifully written too. It's unique and I do hope you'll continue one day, because the story you are telling is so fantastic, it would be a shame if it were left alone, never to be finished. I'm truly in awe at the moment, quite lost for words actually. I've never read anything like this before and I'm already wishing I could forget reading this, only to enjoy it all again. Simply wonderful. |
Guest chapter 18 . 8/26/2014 I am really curious what the outcome of this story will be. Can't wait to read the next chapters, though I am going to have to be patient, lol. |
Aerois chapter 18 . 7/28/2014 I gotta say, you've done a good job of leaving me wondering what's next. My only complaint is that it's kinda hard to keep up with the POV change. Takes a while to figure out who's talking. But it's super interesting and I can't wait to see what's next. Did Sheena kill the Lloyd clone? Man, this story is heavy. I'm kinda sad for him. Anyways, keep it up! |
Glon Morski chapter 1 . 7/17/2014 I saw the change in the summary by chance and decided to chance a look. Indeed, I see the changes :) I have a feeling that an already amazing story will soon get even better once you're done with the revisions :D And you can be sure I'll check out all of them (but, since FF won't notify me unless you actually put up a new chapter, would you mind sending me a PM when a new revamped chapter is up? Or when you've finished revising all of them?). There are still a few errors here and there (for one, it should be 'the child was sitting against the wall', not 'was sat'), but they're few and in between so I won't be complaining :) Well, overall, not much changed in this chapter compared to the first time I read it (not in the sense of what happened, anyway), but I AM curious as to how future chapters will change considering what you told me in your last review reply :) I'll be looking forward to the following edits :D Sincerely, Glon Morski |
AngelofaWhiteNight chapter 18 . 7/15/2014 Finally an update! Lol. This one cleared up a lot of stuff. The writing style was clearer and more focused as well. Hopefully we'll see what happens next really soon! |
Glon Morski chapter 18 . 7/14/2014 Well, I have to say, this is a story I have skimmed through more than once, especially the scenes with Kratos and Lloyd in the cell, where it was so obvious Kratos KNEW he'd found his son... and was suffering because of it :D Yeah, I know, I'm a sadist. Anyway, I read those parts before, more than once, which should tell you just how much I wanted to read the entire fic and see just what the heck this was all about. Which I'm sure beggs the question why I did not. The answer is simple enough. Seeing how enarmored I was with the few scenes I have chanced a peak at, I was afraid that I would fall in love with this fic - a fear well placed because now, after reading all of it, I truly DID fall in love with it. However, I had not hoped to ever see it updated again as the last update, until a short while ago, dated already some four years back. So imagine my surprise and joy to see an update dating today. With that proof of the story still being continued, there was no way I could saty away any longer. And so I read it all. I love how you developped Kratos' and... shall we say fake Lloyd'sr elationship in the beginning. A boy who noticed that when he pushes enough, the mercenary will yield, and yet who doesn't want to be indebted too much and wishes to one day pay back for the kindness. And a 'mercenary' who pretends to be annoyed, yet in the end cannot fight against the undeniable resemblance not only to his dead wife, but even more so his persumed-dead son. Add a bit of angst and drama because of all the parallels that scream 'he's your son!' while logic yells 'he cannot be!' because he's too young. Trurly magnificent. Then there's the actual Lloyd, the one who's seventeen or eighteen, the one who has been moved from ranch to ranch for the last fourteen years or so. I have to admit, if I hadn't spoiled myself by reading the cell scenes before, that would have definitely been a twist I would not have seen coming. It makes the story all the more interesting. Especially since on one hand, Llyod seems to be recovering a bit, while on the other, he still keeps saying that he's dying. Makes me wonder if he'll die in the end. Part of me hopes he won't... the realistic (and sadistic) part of me knows it is unlikely when one considers his condition (plus, I love seeing Kratos suffer... God's I'm horrible, hasn't the poor Seraph suffered enough?!). But then again, Lloyd had managed to live up to this point, I don't see why he'd suddenly kick the bucket now ;) Last, but not least, there's Cody. At first, I thought he was just some plain, simple OC meant to 'fill the hole' once Lloyd was removed from the 'clique' of Collete, Genis and himself, especially since that hole had to be filled by SOMEONE so that Collete could still be the same as in the game (she did say that it was Lloyd who'd given her the courgae to live her life to the fullest and ultimately sacrifice it with a smile, so... yeah, that role couldn't just be cut out). But then he got sick, and there was that weird doctor and he got an exphere... and for some reason, someone seems to make him want to feel abandonned. Coincidence? Maybe, I hardly think someone has actually looked for him (unlike for 'fake' Lloyd, who's obviously being searched for by Desians), but now that he has an exphere, is estranged and on his own, I can't help but think that you've got a bigger role in mind for him. I just can't figure out what it is. Oh well, maybe future chapters will tell :) On that note, just a little 'detail': assuming the boy found by Nova's caravan (I'm assuming it's Nova, anyway) is Cody, what happened to his key krest. I mean, he had one while at the doctor's, but that paragraph clearly stated he had none... confusion because it's been a while since you wrote for this fic? ;) Anyway, loved it so far and cannot wait for more. I do hope I won't have to wait four years for the next chapter LOL But even if I'll have to... this story will definitely be worth the wait, I'm sure of that :3 Sincerely, Glon Morski |

Cam Tyler chapter 13 . 4/4/2013 -mouth agape and tries feebly to find words- Then there were two? I don't even know. |
Cam Tyler chapter 12 . 4/4/2013 Just... just... /WHAT./ Kratos... demoted? Wow. I'm... I could almost hear a suspenseful (and increasingly fearful and the like!) music ringing in my ears of all the past anime osts I've listened to throughout the years. This was incredible! |
Cam Tyler chapter 11 . 4/4/2013 This is truly a captivating fic, omg. I don't remember the last time a ToS fic (aside from a self-insert) has snagged my attention as sharply as this one has! Kudos! |
Cam Tyler chapter 1 . 3/15/2013 OH man, Mr. Rattlebox is at it again. XD Kratos is never gonna hear the end of it. |
Do a Barrel Roll chapter 17 . 3/5/2013 I love this fic. I hope you continue! |
