This was awesome! I have no idea if it was intentional, but this fic is very poetic. It rings in my head like a poem, and just, wow. Incredible.

Where to begin? I *adore* this fic. I've actually lost count of how many times I've read it. It incorporates so many of my favorite things. Canon references? Check. Unreliable narrator? Check! Emotionally screwed-up characters making bad (but realistic!) decisions? Check and check!

Tarantulus is so delightfully creepy in this, gleefully celebrating his own depravity. And yet there's that little hint of vulnerability there at the end, one he doggedly refuses to acknowledge. Throughout the narrative he continually gloats about how pathetic Cheetor is, for coming back to him again and again to be used and abused, but when Cheetor finally moves on, it's painfully clear what a blow that rejection is to Tarantulus' ego, leaving him wondering just who was using whom all along. ****ing BRILLIANT.

So, that's my review. Sorry it took me so darn long. I'm terrible, I know - it's like I've got the attention span of a 3-year-old. But better late than never, yes?

I'm sorry I never found this fic earlier. You did great at staying in character... to the point that you ought to put some wanrings for people who might get triggered by this sort of thing. I like Tarantulas, but he is a creepy bug.

Holy crap...this was absolutely, unequivocally, unbelievably twisted and well-written. I love the format, and the many layers to it all. While it was just oodles of fun reading Tarantulas creepy thoughts (which you hit right on and wrote very true to character, I thought), seeing how much delight he took in being right, it was, however, so satisfying to see how much he utterly he miscalculated Cheetor's growth in the end. It was such an epic Take That! moment. XD

This is such an awesome fic! This pairing needs moar (creepy) love. 3 You totally rock as a writer!

Wow, I can so see Tarantulas as a pedo. Into hot spider bots and little kitties. Or maybe his interest in Arachnia was just to keep everyone from noticing his interest in younglings.

Delightfully twisted!

I was a huge Yugioh slash fan before, and recently got into beast wars, though this is the first Beast Wars slash I've ever read, and honestly, it was fantastic. It takes a creative mind to make this pairing work, and you really pulled it off. Kudos, my friend!

I'd say I've never thought of this pairing, ever. But this story is just so convincible and well-written...Everyone, especially Tarantulas is so in-character.

I'll never look at the BW episode 3 the same way again. ;P
