GrumpyShaman chapter 51 . 11/4/2019
even today, I found this fic and enjoyed through and through. I haven't read the original but those last few unedited chapters I know I'd enjoyed regardless. I want to see the ending edited. I have only one complain. gods? shouldn't it be goddesses? in Ashton I understand but hylians saying gods I was like: what?
I'll eagerly await for the final edit!

I LOV DIS CHAPTER WITH MY CAREER
KaylaMicael chapter 35 . 7/27/2019
I have to say, when Vasilis thinks "I will have no part in this", I think he damn well should have a part in it considering this is all his fault in the first place. There's something about this chapter that's confusing me though... Link was dead set against revealing himself, and Zelda understood why he didn't tell anyone about the scar. Now the opposite is happening in this chapter, and it seems rather out of place to me. Not that it's not still good, because it is, I'm just having trouble understanding why he changed his mind so quickly.

I love your story! It's a great noncanon story. Yes it doesn't go along with the Histroia, I know, but you did a wonderful job at writing and creating a beautiful story that would have followed a whole different path! And I like how you executed the characters' personalities and characteristics into the fray! Keep at it!

This is almost like what happened in the twenty-fifth chapter of The Persistence of Loss. Nice job.
Guest chapter 35 . 4/27/2019
So glad you're still working through this Ingie. Though it stinks we don't get normal notifications on updates...so instead we have to stalk you and check every so often. I like the rework thus far as it seems a tad more focused (I was surprised the long planning meeting was omitted, but you're right, it wasn't needed). I can see the few split story threads working back together. As I love reading the last couple chapters again and again, I can see there really isn't too much for you to rectify back there. Hopefully it doesn't cause you too much consternation. Looking forward to any twists you throw at us dedicated readers in the meantime.
A Fan chapter 51 . 3/12/2019
Ever since I found this, I am thankful that I have found it. To be honest, I enjoy every second. I love this so much and it’s the best out of all the fanfics I read.
Pjittrik chapter 30 . 1/8/2019
I'm at the part where she arrives in Aboda, I'm calling it now that it was Ashton to lure Zelda out.
Maddog chapter 51 . 12/27/2018
Bravo. I am not even a big legend of Zelda fan but I couldn’t stop reading this story. I felt completely immersed in the characters and the plot and didn’t want the story to end. This is one of the best fanfics I’ve read on this site. Kudos.

This was such an amazing experience! I can't believe I didnt find this fanfiction before a week ago. Should've read it much earlier.

Everything was AMAZING! From the storyline, to the characters, everything was perfect, not joking. I loved the portrayal of Link and Zelda.

Link, because he managed to stay strong through all the struggle he went through, and even though he seemed to give up several times, he eventually picked himself up. Also, through the bond, we could see some of Link's thoughts or hidden feelings, and I loved that, because even though it was in Zelda's point of view, I still felt Link's feelings and insecurities.

Now, Zelda. In some fanfictions, she was portrayed as the one who needs constant saving and comfort, but that was not the case in this fanfic. She remained strong throughout the whole story, and even when she went through hard times, she was forgiving and caring. I especially liked that she played such an important role at the final battle, for without her, it would have been a lot harder and Link could have failed.

So, to sum up, I'm very satisfied with both characters.

I liked the story too. I won't go that deep into it as I was mostly infatuated with your description of the main characters, but the story didnt have many flaws. Actually, it didn't have any major flaws, even though I sometimes wished Zelda could just go back to Link as soon as possible haha. The suspense was perfectly balanced and even when they had a moment of peace I was still worried because I knew something would happen soon. The angst was perfect, no flaws there (and I'm a fan of angsty fanfics with good ending lol). I truly felt Link's and Zelda's sorrow, sometimes Link's more than Zelda's. I enjoyed reading all the depressing moments, though I am very satisfied with the fluffy ending. If one of the main characters had died, I wouldn't have been writing this review haha. Also, the moments Zelda and Link has in between were bittersweet and yet beautiful, and you managed to keep it that way until the end of the story.

So, a nicely written ending is sometimes hard to come upon when reading fanfics, but this is one of those endings I will remember. It did not destroy the overall feel, and maybe made the story even more memorable. Oh also, I simply loved the scene when Link could feel the baby through the bond, because it made me so happy but it was also heartbreaking at the same time.

Overall, the long read was totally worth it. I didn't know if I should read this at first, because of how you said this story would be more centered around Zelda since it would be in her POV. This was because I was more of a Link fan than a Zelda fan, BUT this fanfic made me appreciate them both. So, while I am still infatuated with Link, (I know I'm crazy) you made me like Zelda a whole lot more suddenly.

Alright, enough rambling for now. Lastly, thank you veeeeeery much for posting this story and good job!
Also sorry for being a few years late~

Sincerely, Aleks
