Oh, that was just fantastic! I hope they address that little niggling question - what happened to Sam while he was dead. I also like the idea that Sam heard what the YED was saying to Dean, because I wasn't sure about that, but Sam himself must be wondering whether he was brought back 'whole' - after all, Dean wasn't actually dead when John did his deal, but Sam most certainly was. And look what happened to the chick in CSPWDT!

O...slightly eerie with sam repeating the "what is dead should stay dead" line but i loved it!i understand why dean brought sam back but i thought he'd find another way since he was so messed up about the deal his dad , i liked the way you wrote this from sam's point of job!

Loved this - great way of conveying Sam's thoughts of the events. I really like the lines starting with 'You believe that there is something beyond this life...' - and I guess we're all asking the questions that Sam asks at the end.
