That was beautiful. I could never write it that way, and you carried it out with such ease and perfection. There was only one way to do that scene justice, and you did it well. Very nice.

Such an accurate description of Daniel's internal voice. Have you thought of writing professionally?

I love Abyss. It's an incredibly well-written episode. It's also extremely hard to write missing scenes for. With that said, you do a very nice job with it here. You capture the voice of Ascended Daniel quite well, using just enough of his phrases and curious speaking style to make him sound Ascended, without losing Daniel's normal compassionate side.

One note: at this point, Daniel didn't know that the other Ascended were actually Ancients. He learned that in Full Circle.

But anyways...this was a great character piece. You voice Daniel's unique perspective, his emotions, and his desperation very well.
