I wonder what were those lines of text that had inspired you into this. Ah, I wished this was a drabble series at the least, the subtle VxL vibes are just calling for it. This was very slice-of-life and even though we, the readers, don't know about the whole story that have brought them to this point, you had allowed small tidbits to hint at the times we did not get to witness to - the strudels, the fishbowl, the obvious remaining tension between Lady and Vergil. I especially enjoyed Vergil's stoic humor here, haah. And his distraction tactic, what an unexpectedly sly move there. Obviously, he has mellowed out much in this universe here and yet, from how you have characterized him, I could actually well, strangely, see it. I hope you continue to write for the DmC fandom but since muses come and go, I guess I'll just have to lurk around your other stories.

You have probably already heard this many times in past reviews, but I feel the need to stress it in my own. The way you wrote all the characters - Dante, Lady, and especially Vergil, are very true to their video game counterparts. That deserves praise, seeing as that is quite a feat (considering how other authors are not able to do this as well as you do). I love how the subtleties in Vergil's actions are what carried the whole story in the end, seamlessly weaving into the wonderful, not-too-sweet but satisfying plot. This made for a very enjoyable read and I will definitely be adding this to my favorites.

This was an extremely enjoyable read. I love Lady; she's probably my favourite character. And good job on writing Vergil, he seemed very in character, if a bit mellower than he was in DMC3 (he didn't kill the fish. Or Lady. Or Dante, lol.) and Dante making fish lips at the bowl was hilarious. Awesome! :D

The characters are perfectly believable, even though they're out of their usual dark setting. Love the interactions between Vergil and Lady...I always thought these two would look hot together, they have a lot in common. I liked how you showed that Vergil does indeed have a sense of humour, as opposed to "emotionless" Vergil from other fics. Love it! Wish you wrote a second chapter or sequel...

I love this story not just because it had Vergil in it but because it was so well written. I thought it was funny that Dante had used Yamato to slice up a pizza. Its about time, too, that someone else would take on Vergil besides Dante and acutually win.
