Just re-read this story for the umpteenth time. Definitely one of my top 10 favorites ever! I'm just wondering if you think you'll ever get back to this one to finish it. I've "finished" it in my head a few times (lol), but would love to read your version. I'm hoping life has been kinder to you than it was when you had to stop writing. Best Wishes!

IV metoporol will drop the blood pressure and is safe for someone with a concussion. you can use oral toporol but IV works within half an hour. It got me to go from 210/190 to 110/75 and worked with the benzos in my migraine meds.

good backstory.

Comment on an earlier chapter as well - they do have tornados on the east coast, they have touched down in Massachussets and Connecticut, and when I was camping one Pennsic War just north of Pittsburgh PA one touched down and was headed for the campgrounds we were all at [some 10 000 or so of us, this was back in the late 1990s, though tornados have touched down near Pennsic before.]

And you also get that yellow-green lead colored sky with wicked bad thunderstorms, and with hurricanes. Seriously scary, with all my broken bones, I can feel the barometer start bottoming out so I get warning of storm systems that are that serious.

And I like Jes, excellent character. I lke that she has bonded with Steph, the whole opposites attract thing that Ranger and Steph have going.

ROFLMAO That was cruel, poor Cap!
aruvqan chapter 6 . 9/21/2015
Starting to get spy vs spy interesting )
aruvqan chapter 4 . 9/21/2015
Wonderful, I think she is going to love going after skips )

[and I would have also hated the all pink and barbie room as well, I was never into dolls.]

Not the standard Manual at Arms, but I love the Corps' Silent Drill Team when I can get a chance to see them. My father-in-law was with the Blue Angels when he was active duty back in the mid 50s.

And the psychology of military brats and students who have always gone to military style academies is interesting. I didn't do the military academy thing, but I did do private schools and I still have odd habits from it. I can pack a duffle like nobodies business ) I still do the fold and roll on my clothing and I am 54.

ROFLMAO Great )

My youngest memory is of sitting on the kitchen table in K-Town [Kaiserslautern Germany] being taught to play craps and poker by my dad and his buddies. I knew jodies [military exercise cadences] and military 'folk' songs better than the normal kid songs. I got in trouble in school back in the US when I sang Danang Lullaby refrain instead of the My Bonnie refrain in a sing-along assembly. Something about the whole 'my god how the mortars roll in' instead of 'bring back, bring back, oh bring back my bonnie to me' *snicker* at least they were not doing Puff the Magic Dragon ) That military folk song is about the AC47D gunship watch?vuKOrpyO0z48
aruvqan chapter 1 . 9/21/2015
Once a military brat, always a military brat. Also, once a military dependent, always one - certain habits never die. [hell, after 12 years I still know my husbands SSN and my dependent ID number better than my own SSN. I can read uniforms, and after 5 years living in housing under the flightlines for NAS Norfolk and JBLE Langly-Eustace I can ID military planes and helicopters by both sight and sound )
