Wow, really sad. I've got to stop reading Angst fics one after another without some sort of humor fic or something in between.

Great story, though. I liked the wording, and while it's pretty angsty, that's totally reasonable given the situation.

"Plus I have Numbuh Eighty Six standing beside me, and well she’s just plain scary when she thinks your trying to escape from somewhere and no doubt she would."

That line was absolutely perfect! It made me laugh. Just one thing: I think you meant you're, not your.

Also, when you said "burring all hatches," I think what you're looking for is the phrase "burying all the hatchets."

Still a good job, and once again you have a brilliantly angsty conclusion.
