I love Seifer moving on and being at peace (more or less), and the fact that the heroes don't hate his guts is refreshing. The game's ending seems to hint at that too, with that genuine (ly handsome LOL) smile at Garden.

rarely do i read a quifer that is beautiful in its simplicity. this story is one of those. it is beautiful without the angsty fanfare of the ex-knight wallowing in self pity after the war. and your quistis is the quistis that i have always imagined her to be. i also like the way you have shown us readers how they have grown up after the war personality-wise; their easy, spontaneous dialogues bore testament to their maturity. the casual, natural interaction between the characters also shows how you have captured the essence of each and every character mentioned in the story. best of all, i like the way that you have made everything short and to the point. this is one one-shot that other people would probably drag out in chapters, yet you have finished it in one piece and it still ends up as well written as a novelette (it IS a novelette though).

thank you for writing this. please write more stories like this. i wouldn't mind if this story has a follow-up: a sequel, or a companion piece, or whatever your imagination dictates. i'm sure i'll read it :)

Wow, I really enjoyed this story. It actually stuck with the theme from post FF8, and wasn't ridiculous with the circumstances. Very nice fanfiction. I'm a firm SxQ supporter, and this is how I like them portrayed. Keep it up.

Its a well written piece, a little bit AU though, because the final closing video sequence of FF8 shows Siefer sitting on the Docks at Balamb with the rest of the disiplinary commission. But apart from that, its well written, very fluid in its style, giving much of the story its own grace.

Interesting. Poor Seifer, it was sad in a way. I did like how you said Squall took it the worst, I always believed that despite their rivalry and all of that, they would have a large impact on each other lives. And Seifer a journalist, definitely different. The moments between Seifer and Quistis were just right, not overly sweet or anything, cause thats not them.
