What a gift of a story. I've enjoyed losing the morning to it. You capture Faith's world, her feelings, the work, the people, beautifully.

Okay, just to point it out, cause I'd like to see you add this: In RofI, it points out that Jem goes to England after he escapes to Holland to heal, so maybe a Jem/Faith reunion there?

Wonderful. But that rtRTrtRTrtRTrt thing is really annoying. If you do a whole row of -s on MS Word, then you can get nice, neat lines.

I've just discovered your story and must confess I was skeptical when I saw that it was a Rilla of Ingleside/Thorn Birds crossover. I'd have never thought to put those two together. But now that I've read it, I love it! Your characterizations of Faith and Ralph are great! You've obviously done a lot of research on WWI and VADs, and you incorporate it into the story very well! I hope you will finish this story one day.

Oooooh! I absolutely loved this! Jem and Faith are my favorite AOGG couple...and so little is said about their romance. I've always wanted to learn more, so I've written some of my own continuations, but it's lovely to read thoughtful, well-written stories by other authors. Keep up the good work!

I just love this story. I could imagine this story really happening *between the lines*

I'm in awe of how well you know your characters and blend them. Doesn't Ralph say something similar to Frank and then he freaks out? Ralph just doesn't learn, I guess.

Both Faith and Ralph are enduring personal crises of their faith ... I appreciate how you show their differing reactions and actions toward these hard times. Poor Faith snapped tonight, but maybe later she'll be able to accept Ralph's friendship ... and possibly even help him when he needs it.

I am in awe at how accurately and vividly you capture human emotions. Faith's jealousy at hearing of Private Sims' family, her resentment toward Jem, her weariness at waiting instead of acting ... you have created such a real character that I almost can't believe this isn't a true story! And of course, the historical details you add in are wonderful. I love getting a glimpse at the behind-the-scenes parts of the War, and that's just what you're doing with the hospital here. Again, it makes it all so personal I have to keep reminding myself that this is fiction!

In "Rilla of Ingleside" they made it like Faith was all brave and stuff, but that was just Rilla's POV. You show a different side of the story. Write more soon!

That meditation scene blew me away. You are such an amazing writer. I can't wait to see what happens next.
