I think this is one of those light, sweet, weird stories that people sometimes need to remember how the simple things can feel so much better than the complicated ones. I liked the title for this one and the flashback that connected so well to it, as well as to the final line. The image of Toushiro skating gracefully across the ice makes him seem like a bit of a god, walking on water with such ease and carelessness. I have little to say, mostly because I don't have much expeience commenting on stuff like that. i do like it, that's the important part. :) The sequel, I read too, and although I'd prefer something longer, it had its own charm.

That was cute! I loved the way Toushiro was skating. I wonder how he had gotten hurt...but oh well, it made them kiss. Love it! Your writing was detailed, but had very lucid visuals. I love how Ichigo was with his mother, too. That was very sweet...poor Kon. Missing his Nee-San. Toushiro was very ploite in this...a refreshing change. He seemed like a gentleman. Beautiful writing!

It's certainly well done I've always found fics that focus on Ichigo's relationship with his mother to have an Oedipal feel to them, and this is no exception. Still it was enjoyable - especially your goof with calling his mother 'paternal.'

That was truly one of those moments! Great work!
