This story was great! It had me laughing so hard by the end, but it was also very interesting and thought-provoking to see the trio in a different light - tense, frustrated, and a little bit angry. Although we rarely get to see this side of them in the books, I think you did a very good job of keeping them in-character - this is exactly how I would imagine them in their less-than-finer hours.

I especially loved how you wrote Joe - in his frustration, he took his tendency to tease and turned it into angry mocking. I love how he comments on and handles the relationship between Nancy and Frank!

Overall, awesome job! This was definitely a great work.

I loved the N/F tension, of course. :) But especially because it was from Joe's POV. It's interesting to see them through another character's perception. Joe wants them to either be together or not interested at all because he's worried about the friendship they all share being threatened. It makes sense that if Frank's frienship with Nancy is strained, Joe's would be too by default. I never really thought about that before, but it's true. And Nancy really hit low with that comment about Joe and pretty girls at the mall. Ouch! I don't blame Joe for being mad at that one. Even though I don't think Nancy meant to bring back bad memories.
