I love the idea that this is what's going through his head trying to make the perfect first impression. Even though it's AU it felt very true to character and would have even worked in series. Your writing was fantastic and I am totally surprised that this hasn't gotten the attention and praise it should. Great work!

It was confusing, but then I got it. Then it was confusing again, but I understood. And the process repeated, but I understood. And then I liked it. Very much. (Unique way of writing this, yes. Wow, I'm bad with words.) :)

Whoooooa. I got all confused at first. There were so many scenarios, it just didn't make sense. But all of it was cleared up in the end. Nice story

This story reminded me of a horrible pick up line that my good mate made up.

"I haven't got my library card, but can I check you out?" It's terrible, I know, and tacky.

Unlike your story however. Absolutely gorgeous, and I love the innocent, cute, adorable, I'm-trying-to-be-a-flirt-but-I-suck personality with Gar. That's always what I aim for in my stories too. It's such a good idea for a little story, and I might just borrow half the idea for one of my own one day!

Okay that was very funny...

Ha, I love this thing. It reminds me of a one-act play I saw last year...I'm pretty sure the title is identical, and the "timing" idea is the same. The play was a lot of fun, and so was reading this story.

I really liked this. It seemed very realistic. That's exactly how daydreams actually go, revising it until it goes just how you want it to. Of course, the reality is never how you imagined it, but that's not the point.

Was this by chance inspired by the movie Next? There is a scene in that movie that is similar to this.
