Very late review but had to say this story is incredible. Your writing style is so wonderfully evocative and I thought you wrote all of the characters brilliantly. And I love Mia!

I was waiting for backstory on Mia. She's most intriguing. Also, nice to read about Zaf and Jo stepping into Zoe and Tom's old dynamics. I think that's where spooks was headed with the roommate business but we never actually got to see their flat, did we?

Yikes! I hope she takes George and the two pusses with her for safekeeping.

Sigh. I'd forgotten how much I missed Zaf. And Oliver Mace does look an awful lot like a lizard. Spot on.
