It feels out of character for Lando to air out Han's private pains and shame in front of Vader, his men, and Han's friends. Lando's ashamed of what he did and if he's trying to get back at Han for bullying him at the orphanage when they were kids, you need more build-up. This seem s to come out of nowhere.
If you want Vader to find out about Han's painful childhood, then either:
Have Lando mention the orphanage when comparing the food. He goes quiet out of guilt when Han snaps at him. Wanting to learn more, a curious Vader uses the force to find out more.
or
Vader wants to see what Obi-Wan did to his son to make him the ruffian he is now. Since he can't eat, he uses the force to try and see Obi-Wan's machinations.
