Just finished reading this, and all I have to say is... wow. The entire story kept me hooked and that ending was so sweet, I almost teared up a little bit. You are such an amazing storyteller, and I hope to continue reading your quality content!

I felt sorry for the elder Sonic...and ok so Sally isn't purple, lol, still works...i think, though doesn't ble and brown get red? or have I got purple and blue, brown and blue mixed? *sigh* But Elder Sonic seemed so...you know that saying "He is so young, but his eyes go beyong years" yea, well that kind of thing.

Any brilliant, god this was such a suspensefull adventure! The dreams were awesome, the insaness, the exile, future, past,present, everything. Even found a nice spot too, he's ok, i guess.

I knew Jas was Sonics so.

I kind of tohught it at the very start though, i thought the hedgehog nad echidna were sonic and knuckles in the future. it wasn't till you said orange that I clicked. And then I thought well who IS he? So when you described the running, i recalled that no one but Serena could run as fast as sonic (excluding the damn robo's) , and as soon as MR Hedgehog cam abound, i knew...heh nice!

Does that mean, in order to get organe, Sonics partner was a type of purple? :)

Me again. As before, read this story at your site originally. The whole madness idea, and the return of one of my favorite echidna characters in your series (Robin) made this fic a worthwhile read.

The plot twists were well-done too. I at first thought that the echidna and hedgehog from the future (Agh... can't remember their names!) were Sonic and Knuckles theirselve.s Okay, so I was wondering to myself then how in the heck Sonic could've turned orange. (Miss Citrus's Ever-Lasting Quill Dye? Maybe.)

The madness part was kinda out there, but then again, it was supposedly instant, upon hearing about the eighth emerald, so no problems there.

Now... the religious stuff. Already mentioned this in another review, but it seems like you're trying to constantly remind us you're a Christian. WE GET THE POINT. As I said before, I couldn't exactly see Mobius as a religious place. It could make readers who aren't of your faith uncomfortable, if they have trouble reading religious stuff. It seems like it's jsut thrown into the story, barely relating to the plot, just so you can remind the readers what your faith is. (I'm a Slasherian... if it existed. Basically, worshipping. Slasher. Hey, I like her! Pretty cool character.)

Otherwise, you're an EXCELLENT writer, exceptionally talented. Only other nitpicks: You constantly shorten "probably' to "pry" and it seems you have trouble spelling the word "an" ("and" is a different word from "an," remember.)

Keep up the good work, and try and tone down on some stuff, okay? I mean, I'm not disrespecting Christianity, it's just that it looks like you're forcing it on the non-religious readers.

Hey, I really enjoyed this fic. I read it long before I read Shadows of Chaos, but I only just got round to reviewing this. This does remind of the Renshai chronicles, which encouraged me to start re-reading them. I would highly reccomend the series and this fan-fic. I enjoyed this story; well done!

I can't believe this story only has 4 votes at (and two of them are mine)! I'm the kind of person that likes sad, yet strangely uplifting stories, especially ones like this. The whole bout with emerald-induced depression, the freaky "light" dream and the constant referrals to it afterwards, and, of course, the ending all come together to make a story worthy of the printing press. Of course, Sega wouldn't stand for it, but that's the whole point behind fan fiction, isn't it?
