Hellow ;D;D . Awsome sorry. I haven't finished it yet, but still, its the best hephaestion - or 'hafaistion' as he is called danish - story i got the plesure to read. Its really good, i think. You don't make hephaestion a weakling, like so many others, and i think he needed to be strong, to keep loving that moron, Alexander. I really think you did a great job. I've readed (dunno how to spell it xD) a lots of hepaestionstoryes, and this i definally the best .

I really enjoy your stories. I've always had a passion for ancient history. Your stories make me feel like I'm living in that time. I love the fact that you regularly write new stories, and hope you keep it up.

"I have to be worthy of _you_." Ah, wonderful Hephaestion as always. And Alexander's "I've never felt so utterly peaceful, except after… well… no" – haha!

It's delightful to think of Alexander jumping on and off chariots during the march all day (_that's_ what gets into the histories) but then, actually admitting to Hephaestion that the day was tiring . . . and getting such luxurious treatment after! No other masseur in the world could compete, I'm sure! And I really agree that part of the joy Alexander (and Hephaestion too) found was in the way things continually changed for them – and how some things between them never changed. Even at the end, when Alexander admits with "an almost despairing sigh" that what Hephaestion just did was perfect - it seems after all these years he still has a bit of trouble with allowing himself to enjoy himself so fully! Of course, Hephaestion can get around that, even better than when they were boys!

Amazing. I've read almost all of your Alexander fics and all of them are so beautiful. I love how you portray Alexander and Hephaestion. And I love how you write. This particular fic is simply beautiful.

a lovey little piece

Sweet, light-hearted look at A and H at two different moments in their lives. "The more things change, the more they remain the same." In the first part, Alexander realizes how much nicer it is to be loved by Hephaistion than to be liked by him; in the second, that it is so much better to get a "massage" from Hephaistion than from an aged Persian masseur!

Light-hearted but by no means light-weight. I liked how you portrayed Hephaistion as knowing what he wanted, from the first kiss, when he wanted Alexander to love him, not like him, to the massage - it goes to show pretty craftily how even if they've changed and grown, Hephaistion still knows exactly what he wants and how to get it. Thanks for this, very welcome read!

Such a nice and awsome one shot. It was sweet, Hephaestion was sweet, I thought he showed braveness and naughtiness. He is hot.
