You've got both characters' fears, their insecurities, down perfectly. You captured these scenes in a very emotionally-moving way. Great story.

I've always wondered what others would see in Harry during a soul gaze... I'm wondering if maybe you would consider expanding this, get like a supplamental one or something that has the actual event, and not the aftermath... I'm so damn curious as to what Harry's soul looks like, why it freaks people out and whatnot... but for the life of me, I can't come up with any images in my own head... I mean, obviously there'd be some dark stuff... he did kill with magic and he's seen some pretty intense stuff... but I can't picture how the images would play out...

Would love to see you take this up, 'cause you did a good job here with the post 'gaze angst :)

Wow, that was amazing. I mean, really, astoundingly well written, you almost made me cry! The first bit with Harry was deep and emotional and poor Murphy...wow, I'll just stop there. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful, this is the best Dresden fic I've read.

Three...two...one...AWE! So cute! Great ending. I love how you brought Murph and Harry's personalities to the forefront. Between Murph about to kill him to telling him the truth about the soulgaze. Very well done! I loved Harry's "It's official-he'll never understand women". I cracked up at that. Great story!

Oh crap. Murphy! Harry! YOU IDIOTS! You both love each other so just go out and say it! My god in heaven! Neither of you have lost the other because the other thinks they lost you and two negatives make a postitive! GRAH! (goes off mumbling over the idiocies of love)

OH! I like this! Brilliant job describing Murphy. The bleeding angel ready to still kick butt. I can totally picture Murphy's soul like a bunch of muck still trying to get back together and fight the good fight. Now I'm curious as to what she saw in Harry's soul.
