Wow. I have been searching for this story since I first read it but wasn't logged in to review it (only took 3 years of searching).
Anyway, this is a really good and poingnant (my spelling is terrible) fic. The characters seem so real and the story feels so developed despite being a little short. Keep writing!

Holy cat! That was amazingly good! At least I thought so. The last two paragraphs really set it off in my opinion. It was awesome from the first paragraph through to the last sentence. You really are good at using adjectives and expressing feelings and emotions in your writing.

I guess the plan was played out with good intentions; for Demeter anyway. I wouldn’t have selected Munkustrap ( or Skimbleshanks for that matter ) as the conniving or mischievous sort. Nice job.

So much in such little space! And even a twist at the end. Yeah, I DO have to favorite this one. Write for Cats again, you seem to understand the characters inside and out!

This is a really lovely piece, well-written with good descriptions of Demeter's emotions. Nice twist at the end revealing Munkustrap's involvement. All in all, well done!

I almost don't know what to say about this, except that it's really going to stick around in my head for a while. Something about the precise details, the this is how it was tone and spare, perfect dialogue is incredibly haunting...

Wow, this is great for a first Cats fanfiction! The description, the mood, the speaking, it's really all great. Macavity here seems really... well, I don't know the word, but to see him reduced to that state, and to look so helpless in front of Demeter, it makes you remember that he's still a cat, too, just with extraordinary skills.
