This was a thoroughly enjoyable romp with such perfectly written characters. Thank you, and I hope you write in this fandom again.

You packed a lot in a short fic. I really like Clark's thought process in here. For example:

"It was no surprise that Lois would find trouble for herself. It was no surprise that she would think she was capable of handling it alone, or that when things got rough she would come up with a new plan. It was no surprise that she would enlist him, no surprise that in doing so she would assume that she was the one best situated to protect him, instead of the other way around.

It was irritating, but not surprising.

Chloe would have let him in on the plan from the beginning. Lana—back when they were on good terms, anyway—would have called him to ask for help. Lois never needed him for anything."

That nutshelled the girls in Clark's life, all in 3 paragraphs. It's an especially succinct description of Lois. I ADORE your Lois.

Cute. Remarkably well written and easy to read - the words flow and it definitely sounds like Clark.

And uncomplicated - Lois and Clark aren't violently kissing at the end of this one-shot. ;)

Nice ending - definitely didn't lack anything.
