Tisran chapter 11 . 8/19 I love it! These are just great |
Melei chapter 11 . 7/13 Well, good story. I had to skip some of the more gruesome parts, but it was still fun to read. |
livjoanarc chapter 3 . 1/30 Damn, you crazy-I love it LOL. |
l'author chapter 2 . 1/8 I'm a huge fan of your work, the depth of your characters, how you capture deep sorrow and gruesome scenes with so much care they become poetry. That said, I'm disappointed with how you've written the Ishbalan folks in this fic. You did an awesome job capturing their pain, the destruction Roy created, but to have all of the men talk at once in the same manner? I understand they're side characters, plot devices, but the lack of complexity reduces members of an ethnic/racial group to their victimhood, which is bad considering how many young readers fanfic has. I'm ofc gonna keep reading—again, huge fan of yours and this is an excellent fic—but I'm hopeful that if any young (*cough* white person) reads this that they'll understand what I mean. food for thought! |
DaisyAnimeluvr chapter 11 . 10/30/2019 Brutal. And very well written. |
Itisher chapter 6 . 7/16/2018 This literally made me cry |
kimeki95 chapter 3 . 9/25/2017 oh my god i know i love injured main characters but oh my god this is so graphic i kept on wincing but can't stop reading cuz it's my kind of thing ahsvskdhdkdhd u described them perfectly oh god ure amazing |
Guest chapter 11 . 7/3/2017 *Drools* that.. was beautiful... There were a few tiny typos (probably just from perhaps typing too quickly so a letter got left off) but they were so tiny they didn't take away from this WONDERFUL work. |
Triolet chapter 11 . 4/6/2017 Very traumatising but interesting. Characters did sound right. Especially interesting to be reminded of all of Al's problems with his armour, such as, not knowing how much pressure to apply. Thank you |
BlackCatRunning chapter 11 . 1/9/2017 Absolutely incredible story. Exactly what I was hoping for. As much as I love Ed, there are so many fics out there with him in peril and Roy rushing in to save him. It's rare to find such a well-written, thoughtful fic with perfectly balanced hurt/comfort when it's Roy in trouble. I was looking for weeks to find a fic like this and wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed every word. Thank you so much for writing it! |
StarShaper chapter 11 . 9/26/2016 I like this story a lot. I seriously learnt the meaning of some not-very-commonly-used words after reading this. I love how accurately you wrote Roy, Ed and Al. And Roy's quest for forgiveness (which I thought wouldn't be granted to him... or Ed and Al would come and rescue him). Pretty amazing. Roy's hesitation over calling the psychologist getting solved after he and Ed have an awkward hug - just so cute. I think you invented a new thing - Parental!EdRoy, where Edward cares for Roy and all. I also love a lot of your other stories (Sick and Number Twenty-Eight come to mind) and you write, like, seriously well. |
sakuzi-chan chapter 10 . 7/7/2016 Been many years since you published but just end to say this is an excellent fic! Great characterisation and angst. |
DiscontinuedCharacter chapter 11 . 5/21/2016 YOU MUST MAKE A SEQUEL TO THIS PIECE OF AWESOMENESS! SOOOO EMOTIONAL! PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL! |
Guest chapter 11 . 5/9/2016 Man, this was good. It was heartbreaking and harrowing at times, but so good. I absolutely love your style, you always write the characters perfectly. The emotional intensity of this (and your other fics) is astounding. |
SakuraWindChime chapter 11 . 4/1/2016 This was so well written for events that were so difficult. I like inflicting pain on my characters, however horrible that sounds, but I don't think I could execute the events you did without such mastery - fabulous job! |
