I'm reviewing you...again. I like this piece because it really gives Alma Jr. point of view on her Daddy's death quite well. I also like how you portrayed Alma in this. Most people paint her as evil and coniving against Ennis and Jack. To me she's more like a wounded animal. She a hurting woman who probably feels betrayed by her husband. I mean if you found out the man you married was doing another man he knew before your marriage...I'd think you'd act a little pissed too. I like how you really gave her some positive emotions toward Ennis at the end. You can tell she really cared about him if she never told his secret and won't even after his death and what Alma Jr. heard while he was dying. 'Nother great story from one of the most talented authoress' on this site. (I am assuming you are a girl, correct me if I'm wrong).
