I really liked this story. And I liked that you didn't give in to the cliched granny as a wicked witch. Having her die of natural causes was a very interesting twist. At first, I thought her life was tied to the tree somehow and in killing the tree they somehow killed her, but I liked the way you did it better. It is an interesting thought that Sam had never been around anyone who died normally. The boys' explanation of what happened to the fire truck and the tree also had me howling with laughter. I sure wish you were still posting stories in this fandom. I will miss them when I'm done reading through them.

I love your characterization of the brother bond in this story...as well as the fact the "big bad" is a tree!

This was so cute! Love the boys' interactions and Grannie Bea was a riot. Sam actually getting a full night's sleep and contentedly napping on a rocking chair was a nice bit. Loved it!

That was so nice, utterly comforting and funny as well. I loved it, the first chapter alone would have been worth the read, but you kept me hooked all through the story. Fun Fun Fun, Dean on a fire-truck - YeeHa!

And I liked Grann Bee, so nice for the boys to finelly meet someone who gives them such deserved rest and feeling of security (man, Dean even felt relaxed enough to talk about their dad - too bad Sam missed it *wink*

Really good, I especially liked te friendly banter, I'm pretty bad with imagining light humor, so I'm always in awe of writers who can step the fine line between humor and comedy as opposed to plain silly.
