It's so nice to find well-written, in-character Balthier and Fran. This was lovely, and I like how it got to touch on the entire party at one point or another. (I can see Ashe twitching at Balthier's jokes, even as Basch finds them funny. Hahah.)

This is such a beautiful little story. Your description of their surroundings and the dialogue were both perfectly chosen. I was sweaty and anxious just as Vaan was, and I love the quiet love of Fran and Balthier paralleled with the fledgling affections between Vaan and Penelo. Adorable.

By the time I got to the end of this great fic my smile was so big. Awesome story. Balthier and Fran forever!

Words cannot do this fic justice. I mean... wow. I loved the whole friendship aspect between Balthier and Vaan, and then the Balthier/Fran made it the best thing ever. The whole thing was so well in character that it just.. woah. Wow. I think I love you.

XD The "Or a um. Husband." part made me giggle...a lot. XD That was funny... probably a lot more funnier to me then it is, really, but, yeah...when you're sleepy everything seems 10 times funnier. I think. And you ramble. Or I do. Anyways...I love this! This fic was really enjoyable. Balthier's rings are rarely addressed, so it's nice to see someone's perspective on their meaning. It was also nice to see that they symbolized his commitment to Fran. I can never get enough of those two. Great job!
