Thank you for sharing this beautiful story. I've always felt that Darcy would have exactly this level of fear when Elizabeth was pregnant, after losing his mother the way he did. You portrayed that very well, including how his fear lingers even after the safe delivery. Nicely done!

I felt the feelings that poor Darcy was living and I cry of happiness towards the end. I’m a pride a prejudice crazy fan, and I have read more than a few fanfic but yours, you can be sure, was completely different as everything else I have read! Truly superior. You've captured these characters so instinctively. I thought this would be so heavy handed when you began, but I became captured by your vignette. Originality is not something I see too often in most of these stories and the glimpse you've given here really adds something precious to those of us who crave this outlet.
