Reviews for Doctor in the House
Selena92 chapter 17 . 2/6/2019
Awesome!

Love it! You captured the Doctor's brilliant, endearing and adorable six-year old insanity perfectly. This could have very well been an episode. Rose, too, was very authentic.

I wish House and Co had learned more about the Doctor though, like seeing the TARDIS and I would have loved a Sycorax Style abduction to their spaceship in retaliation for the Doctor foiling their plan, followed by the Doctor fighting that Sycorax leader, loosing and regrowing his hand and then all of them teleported back down, Harriet and her entourage (with the addition of Jackie, maybe?) following. House and Co are effectively stranded in the UK at the Powell estate, get to witness the Torchwood destruction and the Doctor's fury (and perhaps one of Jackie's slaps, this time for changing his face or...Jackie will find something I'm sure) and then get an exclusive TARDIS lift back to Plainsboro hospital. Before that, maybe a Tyler christmas the Doctor ineffectually and rather half-heartedly tries to wriggle out of claiming he needed to bring House, his team and Cuddy back home.

This story really surprised me for the better! Read it all in one sitting. House was well-written, which is certainly not easy to do. Would've loved a sequel.
The One Who Reads Too Much chapter 17 . 3/14/2016
Overall, pretty good story.

Good comedy in it at the very least.

"Fine. Name me ten things beginning with a 'P'" House barked out.
The Doctor didn't seem to pause for breath before reeling off a string of syllables. "Pester, perturb, provoke, poor, patient, patience, psychology, pneumonia, phantom, day."
There was a pause whilst House stared at him, stone-faced, but it was Foreman who provided the straight-line.
"Day doesn't start with a 'P'." The Doctor turned his grin on him.
"I should get that checked out if I were you; it could be a kidney problem."

I get it!
I now totally have to use that at any time I can.
The One Who Reads Too Much chapter 3 . 3/14/2016
I feel like that was a rather bit too much info to just hand to House for no effort whatsoever.
Anyone can seem clever if they already have all the puzzle pieces.
The One Who Reads Too Much chapter 2 . 3/14/2016
Dang British television shows leaving their props lying around...
The One Who Reads Too Much chapter 1 . 3/14/2016
Well, at least she maintained her sense of humor. That's what's truly important. ;)
Guest chapter 1 . 2/25/2015
"spoiler up to season 2"? Sign me up lol, it only goes to absolute shit after season 6 so it's all good! :P
I don't watch Doctor Who, but looks like to writing will fill up any details :)

Wonderful story.
goldacharmed chapter 17 . 1/20/2014
This is the best Doctor Who/House cross over on this site! Your writing is completely professional and I am honestly jealous of your pure and immense talent! And your vocabulary made me feel like English is my second language when it's not!
LValeria chapter 4 . 8/6/2013
This story is shaping up quite nicely, I think you have House dead right. And the author's note of this chapter is just priceless.
Nicole chapter 16 . 2/20/2013
Lmao, " Damn right! And I won't just start around here whilst he waltzes off with my bitches."

To good, you've captured House's character amazingly!
Zaralann chapter 17 . 1/2/2013

RandomCitizen chapter 17 . 12/19/2012
That monster/human thing wounds me Doctor. Though I register his point...:l

Those two are so arrogant. XD
Gasp..! Don't fuel his habits! :O

Well, 'spose I'll favorite this before bed.(2 hours after bed at 12.18...) :3
RandomCitizen chapter 16 . 12/19/2012
Yah better back off House's b*tches. :0 XD

Man you follow like a puppy Rose, and YOU didn't make ONE thank you or hink of gratitude.

Self destructive ego-large people make great tv apparently. :P I'd say get a hobby Doc but this is probably it.
