starsong chapter 1 . 5/10/2007 I think I may cry. This is so beautiful. It sparks curiosity with the rune refrences, give background to Julian. Shows things from his side with all the duality of his nature. Above it all it expresses his emotions with a clarity that is incredible. Like a painting full of color and emotion that touches your heart or a song you cannot ignore. thank you. |

incarnated-soul chapter 1 . 3/25/2007 Wow. Breath hitchingly, heart achingly, staggeringly wow. I'm just surprised no one has reviwed this because it is really magnificent. I love the writing style. That sort of distorted but so beautiful prose. It was very poetic and heartfelt. I loved the way you structured it all so, it flowed, jarred, made sense, confused- in all it was quite perfect. I love the one words, the inserted words so things meant more than just one thing and it was like there were lots of voices, all Julian, speaking. And ah the italics, I have a personal love with those italicated parts of stories myself, and you have portrayed just what I love brilliantly. It really was amazing writing. And ahh, my heart reaches out for Julian. Ahes for him actually. There were points of the piece where I though, oh she could have stopped here to make a good ending, but reading it as a whole, it couldn't be better. It was really brilliant, as were the quotes you inserted. The last one just fit so perfectly by the way, despite being unrelated. You really dserve all the praise for this, it really is brilliantly written. It was wonderful to read, the decription, the subtlity and the delicacy- I really can't praise you enough. I'm sincerely glad that I did read it though, its been a long time, since I've met with such poetic prose as this one. |
