Well.. with you having already stated that this was intended to be about Riku, I must admit that he is who I pictured. But Jade is right in that it could apply to almost anyone.

Regardless of whose view this story in, it's a great portrayal of emotion. Brava!

You know, "laughter" is in "slaughter". Crazy! That always makes me think of when you split "therapist" into two words, you get "the rapist". Shazaam!

Anyway, onto the review- I feel that this just screams (yes, screams as in bellows over the rooftops) Riku. Especially because I feel like he doesn't have a lot of control, so that rush would just take him and the darkness would eat him up! -gasp-
