While I can’t reasonably expect an author to pick up a story after all this time, I must say it is still quite an enjoyable one and really wish we could see what comes next.

It took a while and a lot of skimming, but I am finally grooving the story. Dammit, it's going to take several rereads.

most of that eastern magic is beyond lame really the only usefull thing she taught hary was mind magic sword fighting bending spells away and about ley lines and of this voldy prob only doesnt know how to use a sword not that harry does given it takes a life time to learn not 2 months.

Ok I’m loving your story so far, and several of the others. My only complaint is how Maya and Harry call each other bro and sis. No actual sibling ever does that except when saying it heavy with sarcasm.

You do realize due that staffs had been used by druids of the Norwegian and Germanic countries for thousands of years before the people of China and Japan even considered the spiritual ideologies that they are now known to have within the Asiatic section of the world. Current archeological evidence points to the idea of them having been used by spiritual guru's and the like in Europe up to seven thousand years before China was even founded by the first emperor. As such I would believe that Europeans would be more understanding of the nature of them rather than people of Asiatic decent.
As for the sword, the first weapons that can accurately be described as a Sword comes from Arslantepe, Turkey, which is part of both the Middle East and Europe, as such it would be right to say that swords are also of European descent as turkey is closer to Germany than it is to China and Japan or any of the other purely Asiatic countries.
