This has got to be the stupidest thing I've ever read. Dudley accused harry of murder, and everyone instantly believed him and arrested harry? Seriously? They didn't bother getting evidence first? And then they convict him on the word of Dudley alone? Wizarding world included?

Oh wow, this was so fun. Love all the alliteration and the spectacular spoof names. Undersuckertary Umbitch is my fave. I'm sure if you'd been able to go on the pranks on the Ministry of Morons would be hilarious.

I don't know about 'explode' but I do know a 'dirty' firearm can leave you in one 'hades' of a mess. when I took 'firearms safety training' I saw examples of a what happens when the Barrel is blocked on a rifle, and believe me the results aren't pretty. True 'surface' rust , on the outside, might be okay, but if it goes deep enough then the very pressure that drives the bullet might rupture the firing chamber. and lets not even go there with things like 'hang-fire' and other dangers of a poorly maintained weapon.
good story BTW, I am very much enjoying it (even the first chapter, dispite how 'unreal' it seemed)
