This has to be the single most in-depth venture into Sephiroth's psyche that I have ever read. Honestly, this desperately needs more reviews.

I love it. It's distinctly haunting, the feeling I got when I read this(I read the first chapter thinking that it was a oneshot and I was SO ecstatic to see four more chapters waiting to be read). I could almost imagine that I took a seat in Seph's conscious, reclining and watching with morbid facination as he flipped through a well used dictionary, or attempted to smile in front of a dictionary.

But it's reall his mind that becomes the dictionary after a while, isn't it?

Zack's role in this is satisfyingly refreshing. I enjoyed your characterization of him. He's still the Zack I'm familiar with, but not overly jumpy as people tend to portray him. You really showed that he had a serious part of him- a type of portrayal I've rarely seen, save for a few gems and Crisis Core itself.

During each chapter I had a new word to associate with Sephiroth, and I think that that is what really made me zip through all five chapters instead of pressing the back button as I was fearing I would have to do(You've no idea how many times I've been hooked by a summary, only to back out I'm disapointment because the execution threw me off). Each theme struck a different chord in me. I was progressively disturbed and yet, I pitited Sephiroth in a strange way.

Gah, I'm so weird. It's just that I haven't been able to find an FFVII fic that did it for me in almost a year and I've been on a hiatus from the fandom. I'm so worked up at having found this. xD;

Forget FFVII; This has to be one of the most well written, well thought out pieces I've read in a while. Thanks so much for sharing, please update soon!

You know, no matter how often I reread the chapters in this fic, all of the little details and nuances still hit me every time. I really adore your Sephiroth-introverted and relentless, but he still keeps that kind of childish lonliness. Really beautiful.

I'm rather sad you haven't updated this since last year. I wish I'd found it sooner - I love the way it's written, the style is truly unique. You've managed to capture Sephiroth's personality in a way that I've never seen portrayed before - which is really saying something, considering the number of fics there are out there.

What' great in Dictionary, is the fact that it show a characterization lovely in it's exactitude of Sephitoth. Just as Mother is of the Planet.

I love you. I love the way you make us acquainted with you characters, the way you use words, the way it feels so simple, so true, so big. I love the little discreet contentment that follows. (and I love the fact there is no slash in this one)
