FILCH HAS HEART? Sorry, after the other stories, I wasn't expecting that. BUt otherwise, I liked it.

I was looking for a story like this (Lily after her parents died, James comforting), and I'm glad I found this. It was good. Pretty well-written. Bit too cliché for me maybe, but sometimes you took the edge of it.

Like this line:

“I promise,” James replied. “I will never go away.”

“That may prove to be annoying,” Lily muttered, “but I’ll take it.”

I'm glad you let her take the edge of his cheesy promise, well done!

Sometimes it was too easy, sometimes too cheesy. Sometimes really good, I definitely liked the wedding references. And that you gave Filch some emotions was a good touch to it all. It was a good story after all, and I get that it's a bit hard to get it original and not cliché with this concept, so definitely good job here during those circumstances!
