This definately needs a sequel.

Please make this a full story.

I'm curious as to whether you think Entropic Cascade Failure would occur in this situation. It could be a very interesting story since there is no parallel universe to send them to, only back to the past.

It seems like something similar to what happens to me whenever I push a strange button on a Windows computer ... except the ending is usually more frightening. :-)
