After Occlumency, Hermione's tone and words with Harry were not Ron's fault but her own. He didn't provoke or told her to say that. It was her own insensitive, self-centred, old bitchy self.

Reading the books as they were released and being desparate to have more wizarding world while I waited. 15 years later, I am still enthralled with this world.

I'm glad this sequel was there to read! It's very good. :)
Perhaps in part 3 Harry will get that specially made wand to help him in his fight with Voldie.

Huh, I thought Neville's Gran was killed in the multi attacks earlier in the story. My mistake I guess.

What ever happened to that personalized wand that Harry had a certificate for, and the new, bigger, trunk he was going to get before this year?

Huh. I thought for sure we would get some cultural info on Japan, perhaps something to help Harry,or show him something about his magic that would be helpful and interesting.

Do you realize that from the chapter where Mr. Wesley is injured that Nevilles gran has died, been alive, died again, and been alive once again in different chapters up to this one?

I enjoyed this story more than the previous one. You had characters introduced that weren't used as fully in a developed plot as they could have been (Daphne and Blaize) and a plotline not fully executed (Tracey). Additionally the was the small continuity issue with the name of Sirius's girlfriend. Overall however well written, carefully thought out, and in spite of a few issues a good story.

As a plot device I appreciate and can't wait to see what Tracey attempts next in order to snag Harry. However as a Harry/Hermione fan I hate the idea that she could in any way succeed. I also like that Daphne is on Harry and Hermione's side.

Freddie Mercury did not coin the phrase “the show must go on”, sad to say. It’s a circus/theatre term from the 1880’s, and most often attributed to P.T. Barnum.
Also, having Madam Longbottom and Aberforth Dumbledore reappear after having been killed off several chapters ago, is quite a mental speed bump.

Again another dead person is pointed at, the bar keeper? He died already but was alluded too in this chapter.
