Wow this is all just incredible. Absolutely unbelievable. Sokka and Toph's dynamic is particularly amazing– so much casual intimacy they're determined to play off as friendship! Chapter 12 broke my heart in particular because they were so close to kissing and confessing their love *for real* :,(

I'm so sad this story is discontinued but I have definitely enjoyed it (i.e., stayed up until 2am reading it start-to-finish) and I'm grateful to have this much– thank you so much for putting it out there and writing this pairing so damn well!

This is the best chapter so far! I almost started crying when Iroh chose Toph over Zuko.

Holy crap, I am so giddy right now.

This story (which I've spent the past few hours reading) is just simply amazing. I gotta admit, you had me crying the first two chapters - particularly during Sokka's nightmare. It was so vivid and easy to imagine, you just stole the reader away into the horror. It was terrifying.

The plot is so interesting. I am usually not one for AU fics, but this just works so well. I love how intricate the entire story is and how you've built up all the flashbacks and whatnot. It's awesome. :)

And the Sokka/Toph dialogue/interaction is hilarious, exciting, and really made me want to sob and hit Sokka over the head with his own club! I understand he lost Suki and Yue... but that was his first lie to Toph and that killed me. I can't believe... you evil authoress, for making him do that! D:

I am in love with this story. I beg of you to add another chapter soon. I don't know if I can wait more then, oh, I dunno, a minute.
