Made it to chapter 12 and then skipped to 16.
As much as I would have loved to complete it, I just can't get behind abusive relationships.
The ending was rather depressing and Dib didn't seem any happier in my eyes.
It was a good fanfic. You have good writing and I can see why others may like it. It's just not my cup of tea.

I love this story. This view of their relationship makes me feel warm and squishy...

That ending though. Wasn’t expecting that. Was mad at first then thought that it solved all Dib’s problems.

Best ending to a fanfic I've read in a long time. I was so stressed about the ring being taken back, and Dib being able to please Zim. Yah made me feel a lot of feelings dude and this story us awesome.

Oh well, nice ending though, after the explosion...

My honest opinion is that it was an amazing story. It had a great plot and an amazing story line. The end was a bit too harsh though. Also, the invaders aren't supposed to destroy the planet themselves. The Irkens want to enslave the inhabitance and then sweep the planet clean. That's it. It is also a bit improbable. Another query would be that Zim is a defect and had the ability to have emotions that are more difficult for other Irken to feel. Sorry, just ONE more thing, if you read up enough about Irken biology, you would have seen that Irken males are actually made bi-genderal. They can be impregnated and impregnate others. The females are a rarity among the Irken, so yes, Zim has both...things...yes...

This was one of the most depressing things I have ever read. Dude, this is really, really sad.
