I wish you put more of the conflict between the two sisters, because this is such a simplistic piece, though well-written. I also wrote a Parvati/Padma story called Gryffindor At Heart - I was hoping you could go and check it out and review like I did for this story :)

This is incredibly beautiful. Beautiful and unique. There's some feeling into it, some soul that I can't quite place, almost attached to the words. Just fantastic. You're so talented.

Although Parvati is my favourite character, I rarely find stories I like involving her OR Padma. Imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this! It added depth to her character which I'd never considered properly before. Lovely.

I like the clearly separated sections, and the way you covered such a wide range of emotions and tribulations from growing up. Nice! my favorite is the way her mother's sari is like a bright flame!

Great description of Padma here, she's such an interesting character who we know nearly nothing about. I love the rather hurried, detached way it's written.

Ah, I never gave much thought to Padma. For me, Padma has been a girl who was Ron's date and Paravti's twin. But that is what this story tell you, right ? That she, in her own quiet way was there yet never noticed.

I really like this! I love the use of Roman Numerals, and the time-line that you jump about it. I've never really read something about Padma, and you've given me a perspective of her. Masterfully done.
