What is the future Vetinari going to do about the fact that KEEL hit him for not much reason-or I guess that's one count of being rude to his-future-Commander. Makes Vetinari's respect for the Commander at the end of Nightwatch more problematic, when really that's one of the nicest parts of the book.

I LOVE NIGHTWATCH! It's my faveroute sam vimes pairing story ever ebcause it is so FRICKEN AWESOME! And if you don' upate, uncomfortable shoes be damned, I am putting on my heels and walking to where ever you are, and glaring at you until you update. Okay? A second chapter is not only required, or insisted upon, it is FUNDAMENTAL to this poor girl SANITY1. Update. now, please, and yes. Vetinarii and Jhon keel would be rather AWESOME. Its the convovulated thought process behind this fic that is so refreshing to read. I like the pacing of the piece and the second guessing of the characters was nearly spot on for Pratchett's. The sheer irony of Keel's policing methods rubbing off on young Vetinari was a fantastic idea.

Here and there were a few spelling mistakes but nothing that a careful spell check can't fix. Since you mentioned Vetinari is slightly OOC, I'm going to assume that it extends to the earboxing scene as well. Vimes is not suicidal by nature, and I'd love to see him plead ignorance to the adult Vetinari at the conclusion. Lol.

Nice plot. Very god written story. I would recommend you to make it more chapter, although it is good this way.
