This is a great one-shot! Very true to the characters. I think if they did ever get together it would proceed the way you have it here: her pushing with questions, a sudden explosion on his part, the discomfort of him having to face up to his emotions. I like it.

Another very nice story. You really have a handle on the charactors. I think of House as being vulnerable too. A lot of his "coldness" is just to disguise his vulnerability. Thanks for the story! Keep writing!
