That was a nice piece. Seifer characterisation once more spot on. I would really love it if you wrote another Seifer-based piece, before Time Compression and becoming Ultimecia's knight etc...

I really enjoyed this. The whole "cynical teachers making life hard for smart-ass (yet talented) kids" rings true from my experience in high school, and it's interesting to see how you explored it.

Great characterisation and description. The opening paragraphs really drew me in. Nice stuff. :)

Brilliant little ficbit (as you called it). I love your characterization of Seifer..as always. And now that I've student taught for two semesters, I can feel a great deal of sympathy for the instructor, even if his jealousy handicaps himself.

And I must gush that I love your taste in music. Fabulous song from Tilly and the Wall. It's nice to see someone else likes the group.

On a different note, this rocked. Liked the young Seiferness, liked the inter-Garden conflict, and I liked the fact that despite the fact that his Instructors hated him, he was awfully good at waving a gunblade around. (Also, mistyping gunblade as 'gumblade' leads to much in the way of unintentional hilarity).

And if you want to throw us all for a loop, and start shipping Yuffie/Rude/Jenova as your ultimate OT3, then by all means, ship away. _

Cool you're still writing. I was kind of worried that you were going to abandon the craft after such a long project. But maybe that's just me worrying about my own projects. Probably.
