This is one of the fanfics I like so much. Let me explain. Although the Leaf Village doesn't seem like it's in war, or how no fights or whatever is happening much between the chapters, it's good. Even when Sarutobi seems much more trusting than he would be from some random stranger, it's good. Simply because you didn't think of just the normal cast, and expound on that. You built on the world, creating your own interpretation of the war, and not just what is known. An example is Minato's team, the tensions between each village, etc. Basically, the world building from canon is really nice.

You also didn't "play safe" and decided to stay canon, but make your own new stuff. I liked that. Overall cool story.
