Fantastic! An explosion of feelings and finally they are together. What should have happened at the end of season 8.

So so so well done! You really captured the essence of each character perfectly and I could easily see it playing out this way! Super great job!

This is the second story I read from you after "Time Keeps on Slipping" and I gotta say. Wow! I was speechless after I finished. I gotta say, I'll never look at Sam and Jack the same way again. It made for an epic read. You captured every character's personality and emotions perfectly. Those typical Jack jokes cracked me up while Sam's emotions made me shake like a leaf and coming from a guy that's no easy thing to admit. You took the S/J pairing and transformed it into magic. This is by far the best Stargate fanfic I've ever read. I hope I can live up to it and write something just as good. Thanks again for sharing them with it. It made for a very interesting hour last night. Something that I'll never forget and of course listening to Trevor Rabin's 'Titans Spirit' all the way through made it even more amazing.

In a review to one of your other stories, I wrote that the promise of something to come was better than the actual event. Well, after reading this story I realise that I was naively mistaken. The promise of something is wonderful, but this was perfect. Totally and utterly perfect.

"He was always a risk taker ..." That should have applied to he and Sam as well as anything else. And yet he walked out and didn't say goodbye, effectively dumping all the responsibility in her lap - again! He's a coward, as far as I'm concerned. He said goodbye to Daniel and Teal'c knowing he'd see them again. He could have at least done as much for Sam. Maybe you should write a story about how he's forced to come back to her and declare his feelings for her if he really feels so much about her as he claims in this story. I'd really like to read something like that for a change. It's great the way the story turned out, but I can't accept that he'd just walk away from her like that and hope they'd still be friends.
