I can't just keep reading the same chapters over and over or I know I'll go mad.

A very interesting story and I can't wait for more. I love stories with mystery and what better character than Shadow to get fully thrown in the midst of it.

WOAH, a chaos emerald broke?

Oh, I see, it was a fake...well, very nice scene in the cave, even if a little bit...eh, disconcerting? XD but the subtle character interaction was cool, all the little details about body movements you add make it as atmospheric as if it was a movie. :)

(...at one point I even thought for a few moments that sonic had actually died and was now a ghost, because he was so silent.)

well, on account of having watched one too many fullmetal alchemist episodes today the first thought that sprang to my mind when reading that part was that they were all sacrifices for some unknown dark chaos energy entity...*shudders* ...ill be interested to see where this leads, the odds look SO bad for the hedgies in this story...

huh, sonic leaving tails on his own DID seem slightly OOC, but after reading the profile for him, it made sense again. tunnel vision? that sounds really cool and fitting, congrats! I have to say, this is probably the most intriguing sonic character interpretation that Ive seen so far (*sigh* Id probably never be able to write something like this)...I guess this also explains why this fic is written from Shadows POV, this time around, contrary to popular opinion he DOES seem to be the saner one of the two...XD

so, finally the no-rings explanation (which is actually kind of funny - you know, whenever in the games you have no rings you run the risk of instant death, just like shads in the story;), did that give you the inspiration? ) ...hmm, an insane sonic...weird! But why isnt he in a state of detoriating health and shuddering all over? because he sometimes does pick up rings? shadow was feeling pretty bad when he was ill...so is sonic still leading a sort of happy life, like he does usually? I surely hope so...

...and well get a shadow the hedgehog profile, too, wont we? :)

well, Id say...without, it still flows very well. If youd like to put them in to show the position of the characters in their relationships, though, thats fine by me.

Usually I have to cringe when I read those suffixes in fics, since they are always used so wromgly...but that just means Id appreciate it even more if you got it right and people could take your story as an example.

I think it would be especially interesting when you cant see whos talking, like those two (three?) voices shadows hearing when hes still dazed by that electrocution.

I LOVE seeing these two interact in your fic! and I still want to know about sonics missing rings! *thinks* should i keep going on in every review about them? thats just one small detail I cant forget.

side note: also, since youre so always so helpfully correcting my typos and the like, would you like me to do the same here or is it okay as it is? you just have a few very funny homonym slip-ups ("tell-tail") but thats all. I would do it as soon as I return from the holidays.:)

I *so* love this fic! I just found it and cant believe how few revuiews are here, it deserves, like, a thousadn or somethign!

I go absolutely fanboy when you write everyone so in character! it has the emotion and detail of an angst-fic, the action of an epic adventure and the humour of a comedy!

the only thing i found confusing were those visions of shadow...so far they didnt make that much sense, so I was glad there were less in the later chapters. oh well maybe they will make sense later.

and the battle is INTENSE! whats up with metal sonic? and a cliffhanger! I cant *wait* for more...so glad i found this!

poor shads, i guess apart form some torture fics, this is really a story that has it truly in it for him. I just hope Sonic might get there in time to save him...and I STILL want to know why he isnt wearing any rings.

explanation nr. 1: There are secret rings hidden in his shoes.

explanation nr. 2: He IS actually insane and its just that nobody has noticed so far.

i wonder where amy and knuckles are...please dont let them be captured as well? and will rouge make an appearance?

well, with chaos AND the black arms on the loose while shadow gets the crap beaten out of him in regular intervalls...this story is really thrilling, SO glad it hasnt died yet.

on a side note, your meantion of WHS actually inspired me to my most popular fic so far...centering around wikipedia where i had to read up about it. I plugged your fic in an authors note there and i hope youll get some more revs for this.
