Hi, I just had an urge to re-read this story. It's a great slice of time of two characters' lives intertwining. Thanks again for writing it.

Nah, cold tends to preserve an alleged corpse too well. In warm areas you expect them to rot fast with little time to find their 'remains'. Or just choose the ocean.

Awesome! I can totally see that happening. You wrote Methos and Daniel perfectly.
Could you write a sequel or something where Daniel meets back up with Methos? PLEASE? Maybe Daniel could be Immortal or something . . .

An interesting concept, Methos trying to help Daniel prove his theory. Given the timing, he would probably KNOW about the aliens... and after 5000 years, is willing to help tell the secret? Hehe. And finding a way that could still allow him to stay out of the spotlight. Perfect.

I liked the ending too. Daniel wondering WHEN things would become to much. Not if.

And of course the rest was great too, but those were the parts that really stood out.

I just reread this ficlet (this is at least the third time,) and it speaks to me so clearly about Methos. Brilliant, sophisticated, highly adaptable ... The man was a consummate survivor.

I have spent quite a while thinking about this story, and seeing all the times that Daniel might have walked away makes me glad that he never did meet Methos.
